Deaths

Theresa Bambach, 84, retired cook, Case cafeteria, of Lansing died March 15. Bambach joined the staff in 1964 and retired in 1985.

Ann Brown, 83, retired custodian, Custodial Services, of Lansing died March 20. Brown joined the staff in 1973 and retired in 1989.

Mary Boyd, 81, retired building service worker, Owen Graduate Center, of Eagle died March 27. Boyd joined the staff in 1974 and retired in 1990.

Arlene Hall, 81, retired dispatcher, Transportation Services, of Farmington died March 23. Hall joined the staff in 1965 and retired in 1987.

Hazel McCracken, 85, retired food service worker, Snyder-Phillips cafeteria, of Lansing died March 22. McCracken joined the staff in 1965 and retired in 1980.

Patricia Olds, 81, retired office assistant, University Relations, of Lansing died March 8. Olds joined the staff in 1954 and retired in 1982. Her husband, George, survives.

Lyle Ruth, 82, retired office assistant, Contract and Grant Administration, of Owosso died March 10. Ruth joined the staff in 1969 and retired in 1983.

S. Leann Slicer, 59, retired administrative assistant, Engineering Research, of St. Johns died March 27. Slicer joined the staff in 1964 and retired in 1997. Her husband, Theodore, survives.

Cecelia Stauffer, 98, retired residence hall adviser, Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, of Lansing died March 11. Stauffer joined the staff in 1950 and retired in 1972.

Gilbert Williams, 51, professor of telecommunication, of Lansing died March 26. Williams joined the faculty in 1982.
