Alice Dreger's latest book, "One of Us: Conjoined Twins and the Future of Normal," challenges the way "normal" people perceive those with "abnormal" anatomies. Dreger is an associate professor in the Lyman Briggs School of Science and a faculty associate in the Center for Ethics and Humanities in the Life Sciences.

Faculty call for role in expansion

Meeting and voting for the first time since 1989 when the issue of the day was the university switching to a semester system, the MSU Academic Senate met April 22 to say that an expansion of the College of Human Medicine (CHM) into West Michigan could work if faculty are given a role to play in the process.
