'U' returns papers of Russian philosopher

A delegation from Russia visited MSU’s special collections area of the Main Library on May 21 to gather the Il’in papers and prepare to take them home to Russia.

A collection of personal papers and manuscripts that represent the life work of Ivan Il’in, one of the finest Russian philosophers of the 20th century, is back home after a 40-year stay at MSU.

Support staff mark anniversaries, retirees honored
MSU’s annual Service Recognition Awards Program, held May 16 at the Kellogg Center, recognized 540 support staff employees marking service anniversaries. 109 retiring employees were also honored. (Full Story)
Senior associate provost recommendation expected
The search for MSU’s new senior associate provost is drawing to a close, with a recommendation from Provost Kim Wilcox expected in the near future. The senior associate provost will function as the provost’s key adviser on all academic policy and management issues and support the provost by ensuring that initiatives are implemented and institutional goals are met.
