Legal practice seminar

Education symposium

The K-12 Educational Administration department is hosting an educational leadership symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 20 on the second floor of Erickson Hall. Guest speakers include E. Sharon Banks, superintendent of Lansing Public Schools; Daniel Evans, superintendent of Jackson Public Schools; and Gail Ganakas, director of community education at Flint Public Schools. ISP awards

International Studies and Programs is holding its 14th annual international awards ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. March 29 in 303 International Center. The ceremony is to honor 2002-03 recipients of nine different international awards. Admission is free and open to the public.

Girls sports clinic

Intramural Sports, Family Resource Center and Women’s Resource Center are hosting a free girls sports clinic “Girls Get Going!” from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 3 at IM Sports-West. Registration is from 8:30 to 9 a.m.

MSU-DCL College of Law and the department of radiology are hosting a two-day seminar “Two Skills Every Health Care Professional Needs” from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 18 and 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 19 at the Henry Center for Executive Development, 3535 Forest Road, Lansing. Cancer prevention lecture

The 4th annual Helen Shingleton Memorial Lectureship, with Scott M. Lippman, M.D., will be held at 5:15 p.m. March 26 at the MSU Radiology Auditorium. Lippman's lecture, "Cancer Prevention: Progress and Promise," is geared toward the layman, patients and the public. Refreshments will be served.
