Marathon of Majors

The Undergraduate University Division is holding a Marathon of Majors for students from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 21 in the first floor classroom wing of Bessey Hall.

Business luncheon

The International Business Center and MSU-Detroit College of Law are holding a luncheon at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 12 at the Michigan Athletic Club. Gladson Remos, Caco Pacific Corp., will present “Building International Relationships South of the Border.” Cost is $20. To register, call 353-4336.

The Faculty Council will meet at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 19 in 115 International Center.

Off-campus training

Departments with students participating in off-campus training for credit during spring semester need to send the name, student number and current on-campus hall residence of each student by Dec. 13 to Tom Koch, Department of University Housing, 190 W. Holmes Hall; fax 432-1470.

Holiday workshop

Hidden Lake Gardens in Tipton is holding a holiday stamping workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 19. The workshop will cover techniques used in stamping and embossing. Cost is $24. To register, call (517) 431-2060.

The MSU Business Women’s Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 12 in the Brody Hall north dining room. Venecia Burner of Salomon, Smith, Barney will present “Financial Planning for Women.”

ECAC meeting

The Executive Committee of Academic Council will meet at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 12 in the Board Room of Hannah Administration Building to set the agendas for Faculty Council and Academic Council meetings.

Retirees meeting

The MSU Retirees Association will meet at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in the MSU Federal Credit Union main branch. Gale W. Larson will discuss “The Purpose and History of ROTC.”
