MSU research sheds new light on dangers of high cholesterol

Researchers to investigate possible ADHD links
A team of researchers from MSU will be using two grants totaling nearly $3.5 million to determine if environmental contaminants, as well as hormonal influences, play a role in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. (Full Story)

MSU researchers to study technology impact on kids
MSU researchers will use a $750,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to better understand the nature and extent of children’s information technology (IT) use and how using IT is affecting them.

Statistical training center to bolster research commitment
Recognizing that statistical analyses are an important part of much current empirical research, the new MSU Center for Statistical Training and Consulting (CSTAT) is inviting the MSU community to explore opportunities for help with statistical methodology at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 20 in 178 Giltner Hall. Visitors will be able to tour the offices, meet the staff, see what is offered and enjoy refreshments. (Full Story)
